SM4 Base Kit

The complete sensor, ready to mount on your own mast or pole, includes:

Temperature cable, 3 m or 5 m, with 16 or 26 sensors spaced 20 cm apart
Laser snow-depth sensor with optional lens heater
Data logger with solar panel and rechargeable batteries
LTE-M and NB-IoT connectivity
Full access to your data on snowsense.is, plus a REST API for your own systems
Mounting brackets for a mast or pole

Pole not included, but we'll help you with the setup.

The cable comes pre-mounted on the pole, and the aluminum foundation is light to carry yet strong enough to handle fierce wind and snow creep.

Track sea temperature from the surface down to 15 m, with a reading every 2.5 m. Mostly used in fish farming.

Need something different?

SM4 snow sensors can be customized according to needs. The cables can be as long as needed, and the distance between the temperature probes can be adjusted as desired. Get in touch by e-mail if you are interested in having a custom-made sensor.
