About SM4
The SM4 sensor is based on a simple concept. A series of temperature sensors are placed at 20 cm intervals in a cable attached to a pole, mast, or whatever is considered suitable. The measurements are delivered to the website with several minute intervals and sent regularly to a central computer with a GSM system. All the data is published here on the website.

How to read the graphs
It can be difficult to read the information that the SM4 meters send out. There are several different graphs on the data page and each one of them is explained here aswell aswell as the map.

Here you can see our map. All the meters are marked on the map and snow depth information is also there. It is possible to add a gradient map and elevation lines on the map.
